place & space
KOSA is located on Madison's east side, in the historic Garver Feed Mill.
Kosa’s space is designed to celebrate the Garver Feed Mill’s history and is a simple, natural, and warm environment, honoring its original, true nature. Kosa is infused with fire, plants, and water to enhance one’s connection with the natural elements.
Recently restored for public use, the iconic 55,000 square foot Garver Feed Mill was built in the early 1900s as a sugar beet factory. Centrally located on a 26-acre site adjacent to Olbrich Gardens, the Garver Feed Mill offers visitors the best in dining, wellness, and event space. In winter months, Garver Feed Mill is home to the Dane County Farmers' Market, the largest producer-only farmers' market in the nation.
